IB Diffusion™ v1.0
IB Diffusion OsiriX Plugin v1.0 is software that analyzes MR diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) datasets and generates Apparent Diffusion Coefficient (ADC) maps.
Features:
- The b values are read directly from the DICOM image headers, if available. If not, the user has the ability to manually override the default values with actual values.
- Typically, two volumes with different b values are acquired in a DWI sequence (e.g. one with b=0 and one with b=1,000 s/mm2). The standard two-point ADC calculation is used for this situation: ADC = ln(So/S1)/(b1-bo). If more than two volumes are collected, each with a unique b value, then ADC is calculated by linear regression.
- ADC values can be normalized using the mean value from a user-generated region of interest (ROI).
- ADC maps are automatically exported as DICOM secondary capture images as new series in the existing study within the OsiriX database and can be easily pushed to a PACS.
- Automated report generation - reports can be saved as DICOM secondary capture images within the same study or exported as PDFs.
NOTE: IB Diffusion 1.0 does not have FDA 510(k) clearance and is restricted to investigational use. |
